Telehealth GLP-1 checklist: before enrollment and after dispensing
A smooth online intake is only one step. A useful telehealth assessment checks the clinical provider, prescription product, pharmacy, full bill, and continuing support.

Identify everyone involved
Ask for the platform's legal entity, clinician group, prescribing clinician, and dispensing pharmacy. They may be different companies. Verify the appropriate licenses for your state and request a way to reach clinical help rather than only general customer support.
Ask which health history, medicines, and follow-up information are needed for an assessment. A prescription should not be guaranteed before a clinician evaluates the patient. Discuss whether an in-person visit or coordination with your existing doctor is needed.

Name the product and medical purpose
Request the exact brand or compounded formulation, route, dose, device, and indication. If compounded, ask why an approved medicine cannot meet the medical need. Do not accept a brand logo or an ingredient name as the full answer.
Check pregnancy plans, oral contraception where relevant, insulin and sulfonylureas, gastrointestinal disease, and other important safety issues with the prescriber. A platform quiz does not replace a discussion of product-specific contraindications and interactions.

Clarify the commitment
Obtain the upfront amount, continuing charges, automatic renewal, cancellation deadlines, and refund rules. Separate membership and medication costs. Ask how billing works if the prescription is declined, delayed, switched, or stopped.
Find out who manages prior authorization and what happens during a coverage appeal. A customer-service promise or a low introductory price should not be confused with insurance approval or ongoing clinical access.

Check the dispensed package
Match the delivered product to the prescription and pharmacy instructions. Confirm the label, dose, expiration or beyond-use date, storage, device, and supplies. Ask the pharmacist about a mismatch or a temperature concern before using it.
If the concentration or presentation changes at refill, request new directions. Record doses and symptoms, and know how to contact the prescriber for adverse effects. Do not repeat an uncertain injection or change dose based on a website's chart.
