Organize a Blood Drive

Why Donate Blood?
In the United States, someone needs a blood transfusion every two seconds.  Most Americans will need a blood transfusion sometime in their lives.

It's About Saving Lives
"I was 18 years old and just as invincible as any teenage thinks they are.  I was running 2 miles a day, enjoying life and getting the most I could out of it I could.  The next week I found out I had a disease that meant I would die if I couldn't rely on blood donations that people give regularly."

It's About Caring
"I first donated blood when I was in high school.  Now, 33 years later, I think I've donated somewhere between 5 to 7 gallons of blood."

Fact:
4 million lives are saved each year thanks to lifesaving blood transfusions.
